Tax Day Tea Parties

Wednesday the 15th is Tax Day for America. However, it is also an important historical day, marking what is possibly the largest resurgence of organized anti-government sentiment since the peace movement of the 1960s. The 15th will be marked not just by the filing of taxes, the coercion of a government on its people to further fund its subjection through aggressive and quasi-legal actions against corporations and private individuals. The 15th will be marked as a historical day on which the governors of many states, several brave men and women of Congress, and everyday citizens unite to show support for each other. Solidarity against the taking of liberties, and the bullying of this current administration. As our forebears did in 1773, we will be taking a stand against the government’s actions and unfair taxing and spending.

If you support the reduction of wasteful government spending, attend a Tea Party in your area. If you believe that people should not fear their government, but that the government should fear its people, attend a Tea Party. Stand up for your rights.

I will be in the Dallas City Hall tomorrow night, from 5:30-9:00pm, with hundreds of other proud Americans to stand for what I believe in.
